Overview
soapnotegenerator.ai ("the Service") is operated by Notehouse. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling any personal data with care. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
The short version: We do not store your session data. We do not use cookies. We do not require an account. We collect minimal analytics data to improve the Service.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- Session keywords or clinical data you enter into the tool
- Generated SOAP notes
- Patient or client information
- Your name, email, or other personal identifiers (no account required)
- Cookies or tracking identifiers
Session Data Processing
When you use the SOAP note generator, the keywords you enter are sent directly from your browser to our processing infrastructure on AWS. The data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+), processed to generate your SOAP note, and immediately discarded. No session data is written to any database, file system, or log. This is true zero-retention processing.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to understand how the Service is used. Vercel Analytics is privacy-focused and does not use cookies. It collects:
- Page views and navigation patterns
- Button click events (e.g., "generate," "copy," "export PDF")
- Performance metrics (page load times)
- Browser type and screen size (aggregated, not individually identifying)
This data does not include any clinical content, personal identifiers, or session data.
Feedback Data
If you voluntarily submit feedback (thumbs up/down rating and optional comment), the following is stored:
- Your rating (up or down)
- Your comment text (if provided, maximum 500 characters)
- The specialty that was selected
- A timestamp
Feedback data is stored for 90 days and then automatically deleted. We explicitly warn users not to include patient names or protected health information in feedback comments. No session keywords or generated notes are stored with feedback.
Third-Party Services
- Vercel - hosts our static website and analytics. No clinical data passes through Vercel.
- AWS (Amazon Web Services) - processes SOAP note generation requests. Covered by the AWS Business Associate Agreement (BAA).
- Upstash - stores voluntary feedback data (non-clinical only).
Your Rights
Since we do not collect personal data or require accounts, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. If you have submitted feedback and wish to have it removed, contact us at privacy@getnotehouse.com.
Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for use by healthcare professionals and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
